Multi Ch Whisborne Tia Maria

Isn't she stunning!

Thank you Olga Ivanova for letting me bring her to the UK
A lot of people fell in love with her

LAC Champ Show

Where to begin?
We had such a fabulous day.
Oscar (Skyfall) won his junior class

I find this boy's balance stunning.
He is a handful to show but worth the every minute

Then Jill Lock wins the open dog class and the dog CC with Gino

And the icing on the cake
I took Tia Maria, my big secret, into the open bitch class which was so heavily contested.
Not only did she win the class, she then went on to take the CC and best of all, BEST IN SHOW

Our judge was breed specialist Gill Holland (Vaderlands)

B'ham Critique

By judge Albert Wight:

Noah
OD (5) Only 5 but all Champions and each in impeccable condition.
1 & Res CC Cain's Ch Kutani Lightning Strike. Almost the complete package, the right size and substance, well sprung ribs carry well back, his reach of neck and tail set and carriage add to a compelling outline then dress it all in wonderful jacket and you have an eye-catcher. His head is a delight, oozes Apso quality and charm, so well pigmented, correct mouth and never set a foot wrong either in stance or on the move. More than happy to give him runner up spot to his close relative.

Deita
LB (12,1)
1 Cain's Tantra's Plenty O Toole Isa Kutani, what a flashy little number this black and white is. Charms in spades, beautifully headed, really well bodied, fabulous coat and presentation and moved around the ring as though she owned it. Her head is so good, correct bite, super eyes and skull fairly lean. Could end up titled.

(Of course Deita is now already a champion but not at the time the entries closed so not shown in catalogue).
Super write ups, very very proud.

Gino
LD (10)
1 & CC Lock's Littondale Vallentino. I see is a son of Ch. Chethang Nikodemus, so he is half brother to the OD winner which won the RCC. This was a very strong class, even in quality and a joy to behold. I simply loved the head quality of this dog. His mouth and bite are spot on, the muzzle so correct, the back skull lean and slightly receding, the ears frame the face with feathering and his expression is stunning. Blessed with a good neck, really well ribbed, strongly boned legs, level backed, beautifully set and carried well furnished tail and he was the soundest moving male of the day. This was his day, he looked every inch a Champion and I was very happy to give him his first CC.

Gino is by Ch Chethang Nikodemus (a Ch Kutani Rogue Trader son)
out of Kutani Shabbie Chic.
We had a great 'Kutani family' day.  Thank you to Mr Albert Wight for appreciating all our dogs so much, and huge CONGRATULATIONS to my friends Jill & Dave Lock on their first homebred CC.

Ch Tantra's Plenty O'Toole Isa Kutani

Deita has always been a Princess, loved by everyone,
but after the SKC weekend she came home a Queen.
Thank you to Colin, her breeder, for letting this special girl come to Kutani.
Her sire, Ch/Aust Ch Kutani Secret Agent, is now resident in Australia, so this mating is a one off, making her even more special.  Her sister Pussy is just as good and hopefully she will carry her title one day after she has fulfilled her maternal duties.
I would just like to say 'Thank You' to everyone for your support and the many congratulations you have sent both myself and Colin.

Blackpool Critique

This is the critique from Juha Kares (Chic Choix) who judged Blackpool Championship Show 2012.
I am so proud of my two special dogs.

Noah:  Cain's Kutani Lightning Strike. CC. What a handsome stallion this dog was. As he was standing in the wet ground he did not mind at all. This male with perfect Lhasa Apso proportions caught my eye in a heartbeat. He had an outstanding masculine head and expression. His shoulders were well laid back and topline was to die for. Well arched neck made the picture perfect. He was such a sound mover and carried his super profile to perfection even in this terrible weather. This handsome dog is really a world class Lhasa Apso. It was such a pleasure to judge this very strong class and I was so happy to find such a great winner.

Deita:    Cain's Tantra's Plenty O'Toole Isa Kutani. This is a Lhasa Apso. She is full of breed details. As this divine Lhasa Apso is looking to you the look is just what it should be. She gave me chills. This is the Lhasa Apso charisma, why we all love this Tibetan breed so much. As this superior female was standing on the wet ground I could not see clouds or rain. I did not feel cold. There is something very special about her. She is ideal in size, she had very nice body proportions. She has just the perfect amount of body. It is very rare to find Lhasa Apso with perfect volume of bone. For me this girl had just the volume and shape of bone I want to see with a Lhasa Apso bitch. She moved and carried herself so well. She had nice frontlegs. But I knew she was my winner the moment she stepped in the ring as she had the superior breed type and charisma that makes Lhasa Apsos such a special breed. Therefore it was crystal clear that she was my BOB.

Blackpool Champ Show

What an amazing day !! The double !!

Kutani Lightning Strike takes his 7th CC
but the star of the show was our Deita,
Tantra's Plenty O'Toole Isa Kutani
taking her first CC and beating her favourite boy to BOB
We are so grateful to Juha Kares (Chic Choix, Finland)
for thinking so highly of our black diamond.
Photo is of the pair of them when we got back home, covered from head to foot in mud.

Congratulations must go to Deita's breeder Colin Andersson
This is his first 'homebred' CC and to get BOB as well is an achievement.

Bath Group

Just had to add this super photo of Noah in the Group,
taken by Jill Lock

Enjoying his day in the big ring again.

Bath 2012

This is my amazing dog Noah
strutting his stuff and winning the Group at Bath Champ Show 2012.
What a super day for Kutani, not only Noah winning his 4th CC then BOB and ultimatly the Group, but also Deita winning her junior class and then to my astonishment, the Res CC at the tender age of 17 months old.
Thank you to our breed judge Beryl Bradford for the confidence in my dogs and Thank You to the group judge David Cavill for the icing on the cake.
A day we will remember for a long time.

World Dog Show

World Dog Show in Saltzberg, Austria
Huge success for Chic Choix and Kutani.
BOB and Group 2 went to Multi Ch Chic Choix Sky's The Limit
who is a Ch Kutani Reckless son.
What a great combination Chic Choix (Juha Karis) and Kutani has proven.
The Best Bitch is one of my favourites, Chic Choix Cleopatra Euradice, litter sister to the wonderful Chic Choix Alexander The Great.

New Champions at SKC

So very proud of my boy Noah (Kutani Lightning Strike) at the SKC Show last Friday.  Under dire conditions he didn't let me down and strode out to take CC, BOB and a wonderful Group 4.
Thank you to specialist judge Bruce Watson for a super day giving Noah his 3rd CC and so his 'crown'.
Thank you also to Steve Hall for his Group 4 and for his 1st CC.

Many congratulations to Sue, Joan & John Scarll on making
Timizinti Hope and Dreams a well deserved champion.
Hope is a Ch Kutani Rogue Trader daughter thus making her his 8th champion offspring.

Thank you to Juha for this beautiful girl, she is the first Chic Choix Lhasa champion in the UK.  Thank you to the judges for making this possible.
